The Pregnancy and Postpartum Resource Center (PPRC) a non-profit organization that was founded
in January of 2004 to help mothers and families struggling with a mood disorder such as depression and/or anxiety. Our mission is to improve the emotional well-being of families before and after the birth of a child. We provide three primary services to women and providers in the Kansas City metro area and beyond, including phone support, support groups, and additional referrals and resources these mothers and families may need.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, we are continuing with a tradition of celebrating motherhood through our Mothers Matter Fundraising Campaign. Mothers Matter is designed to honor mothers who have made a difference in the lives of others. Will you please donate so that we can continue to help families who may not find support elsewhere? In appreciation of your donation, the mother you honor or memorialize will be listed on a special “Mothers Matter” page on our website ( One hundred percent of your Mothers Matter donation will provide a new mom with the support that she needs and deserves.

We are truly grateful for your kindness. Although the women we serve remain confidential and you do not personally see the impact of your donation, we have seen the relief and can attest : it transforms their lives.
